Learn to Lawn Bowl in 2 hours - then spend the rest of your life enjoying this low-impact, social sport for all ages.

Lawn Bowling - NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH BOCCE BALL - has been a part of Sarasota life since 1927.

Although modern Lawn Bowling was introduced in the 1830s in Scotland, it is truly a 21^st century sport!  Women compete equally with men, seniors compete equally with far younger bowlers, and bowlers of different skill levels can play together in the same game. 

You don't need prior training or special equipment for this outing.  Just come in tennis shoes or comfortable flat soled shoes.  Club pros will outfit you with everything you need and soon get you playing!

• $25 per person, Includes bottled water and healthy snack.
• The Sarasota Lawn Bowling facility is located on Bobby Jones Golf Course property but has a separate entrance and parking lot across the street and nearly 1/3 mile down from the main golf course entrance on Circus Blvd.  The Lawn Bowling entrance is 951 Circus Blvd.
• Arrive by 12:45 p.m. to select your set of bowls for the 1:00 p.m. start.
